"The only thing this study [Blue Shield Study] might
have answered is the question some people have had as
to whether the consultant, as well as the Mayor and Council would be fair and
balanced in the end. Obviously not. First off, this so
called "professional" analysis is anything but professional. I
completed better analysis in grade school and wasn't paid $40,000.00 + to do
it. But I digress since the townsfolk are already well aware of the lack of
credentials of those doing the "studying".
"In our opinion the study [Blue Shield Study] is so rife with errors,
inconsistencies, and thoroughness that it almost laughable, not to mention
being highly unprofessional. I worked as a consultant from 1984 to 1988 part
time and from 1988 to 2001 full time. Had I presented such a shallow report to
any of my clients, I would not have lasted for that duration and would probably
been denied payment. Had I presented it any of my employers prior to 1988, I
would have been fired on the spot. "
"After reading the analysis [Blue Shield
Study] of shared services, conducted by Ted M. Ehrenburg of Blue Shield
Consulting L.L.C., I am appalled of the lack of consideration to the safety for
the residences in the Borough of Mount Arlington."
"This 28 page report [Blue Shield Study] is
ambiguous, incorrect of some facts and unprofessional. We should have done this
report in house and saved the residents the $43,000
"... Kerri
Ann Mulligan, the council's liaison to the police department,
said she was "not
pleased" by the report [Blue Shield Report] because it
lacked sufficient supporting data."
